Nothing is more important for the most students than the achievement of academic success. Grades are clearly the most important measure of academic success and are seen by most students as the most important determinant of future life success. This perception may or may not be true, but it certainly exists; and anyone taking on the role of counselor to collegestudents must confront problems related to academis success.
